Member for Maitland Jenny Aitchison MP is proving actions speak louder than words when it comes to the environment.
This is the fourth year in a row Ms Aitchison and local volunteers have participated in Clean Up Australia Day at Ashtonfield near the intersection of the New England Highway and South Seas Drive.
Ms Aitchison acknowledges the great sense of community spirit and tangible achievement Clean Up Australia Day provides for everyone who participates.
Ms Aitchison is calling on local residents to put on their gloves and pick up their rubbish bags to clean up the local area.
