COMMUNITY RECOGNITION STATEMENT - Maitland Magpies WPL Senior Squad Win

Ms JENNY AITCHISON (Maitland)—Congratulations to Maitland Magpies WPL Senior Squad who have achieved an historic first win! In a scoreless first half the team fought on with tenacity, confidence, heart and exceptional team work to win the game with a flurry of goals in the second half and were victorious 6 goals to 2 over Adamstown Rosebud.


Top Goal scorers were Chelsea Gay (3), Mercedes McNabb (2) and Kate Heap. But we know it takes a team to achieve such an outstanding result, so congratulations go as well to Danielle Redding, Isabella Cosentino, Kaitlin Radstaak, Lisa Cochrane, Emily Wicks, Emmeline Pepper, Ainsley Childs, Bronte Peel, Sophie Stapleford, Taleah Mountford, Airlie Gray, Jasmyn Hughes, Gabriella Martinella, Tahlia Gossner, Chelsea Gay, Taylah Bryde, Madison Gallegos, Emily Moore, Olivia Rostron, Ellen Darby, Sarah Hanks, Ava Lidden, Tara Johnson, Zoe Jones, Sarah Whitely, Jordan Healy and Imogene Tomasone.
