Anzac Day in Maitland

On Anzac Day, our community comes together for one of Australia’s most important commemorations.
It is a time to reflect not just on the Gallipoli legend but the entire First World War and the century of service and sacrifice that has flowed from it. In the face of their trials, the perseverance, selflessness, courage and compassion of our troops came to define our national identity.
I would encourage you to attend one of the local ceremonies that will be held across Maitland on Monday.
