Today I recognise Roxanne McMurray from SOS Save Our Women's Services. Ms McMurray visited Parliament House today to share a new collection of stories about survivors of domestic violence, including one woman from my own electorate. I pay tribute to all the women who bravely shared their stories. The stories described in detail the impact of the horrific and terrible things these women experienced as victims and survivors of domestic violence. Ms McMurray explained the importance of sharing the stories firsthand rather than hearing of them from coronial and death review team reports. I thank each of the women for telling us about their lives and I hope this will inform domestic violence policy in this State into the future.
