Community Recognition Statements

As a Member of Parliament I am able to make 60 second statements of a congratulatory nature or that acknowledge achievements of individuals or groups within the community.

These statements are called Community Recognition Statements and are predominantly of a local or private nature and uncontroversial. They recognise charity work, retirements or honour awards (e.g. sporting achievements, school awards etc).

If you know of a person or group that you would like recognised for their contribution to our community please contact my office on 4933 1617 or by email maitland@parliament.nsw.gov.au
